PreCleaning and sterilization procedures for autoclavable Sensor Positioners
Plastic parts have a limited life and should be replaced periodically
1. Disassemble instrument(s)
2. Remove debris from components with hot water and soap.
3. Put components in sterilization pouches, away from autoclave walls and heating element. Plastic parts must be in a separate pouch from metal parts to avoid melting or warping.
4. Cycle per autoclave instructions. Do not exceed 273°F(134°C).
–DO NOT use phenol-based glutaraldehyde.–DO NOT use special application or ultrasonic cleaners.
–DO NOT CHEMICLAVE or DRY-HEATSTERILIZE.
–DO NOT cold sterilize.
5. Sterilization Cycle: Minimum Temperature: Minimum Full Cycle Exposure Time: Minimum Dry Time
Pre-vacuum : 270˚F(132˚C) 3 min 16 min
Steam-Flush Pressure-Pulse: 270˚F(132˚C) 3 min 16 min
Gravity Steam Sterilization : 270˚F(132˚C) 10 min 15 min
